Balancing connection unit for zero-point clamping systems.
Products
Application
The balancing joint units are mainly used to compensate for inaccuracies to a zero-point clamping system.
In clamping situations where the required accuracy of a part to be clamped to the zero-point system is not guaranteed,
the balancing joint units (AVE) can be mounted instead of the locating bolts from the respective manufacturer.
Along with a reference joint unit (RVE), install several balancing joint units (AVE).
By clamping the zero-point plate, the upper and lower parts of the AVE are clamped in the respective position to one another.
Usually, these are horizontally compensated, though vertical inaccuracies too can be bridged with the corresponding AVE.
Execution
- The reference unit establishes the starting point and must be positioned near the workpiece zero point, if applicable
- Made of 16MnCr5 case-hardening steel
- Tenifer QPQ-coated
Advantage
- Components and workpieces where the exact required position of the zero point bolts is not guaranteed due to thermal deformation, inaccurate production or similar can be clamped using the compensating connection unit without any problems.
- The higher position of the workpiece allows partial drilling through and overhead milling of the workpiece
Notes
As a rule, only one reference unit is installed.
Delivery
1x base reference unit with adapter rings; locating bolts not included
