Application
Optical 3D measuring instrument for non-contact recording of surface roughness. Measuring principle based on confocal microscopy with micro-lens technology for high light efficiency.
Execution
- Digital camera with 1280x1024 pixels and 60 frames per second
- 20x lens with long working distance
- Calibration object for the reference plane
- Integrated laser diode (450 nm)
- Linear axis with 25 mm travelling distance for standard-compliant recording of the measurement path
- Step motor drive (scan path approx. 20 mm) for the Z axis
- Incremental linear measuring system with glass scale (5 nm resolution)
- Software for performing roughness measurement and evaluation
- PC for control
