Application
The vertical units in the US 1100 series can be used to shrink shrink-fit chucks of dia. 3-32 mm (carbide) and dia. 6-32 (HSS) using fixed parameters.
The optional pyrometer coil also enables the temperature of the shrink-fit chuck to be controlled automatically and directly during the heating process.
This prevents the shrink-fit chuck from burning up. The safe and fast shrinking process does not require any prior identification of the shrink-fit chuck.
Execution
- HSK 63/80/100 can be inserted directly into the centring disc. Adapters for tool holders are available for the other interfaces (SK 25, SK/CAT/BT 30 to 40 and HSK 25 to 50).
- Shrinking with Pyrometer and TempControl.
- Manual shrinking using one button or automated shrinking based on parameters.
- Precise length adjustment possible via an additional retrofit device.
- max. shrink length: approx. 500 mm.
Notes
For effective and gentle cooling of the tools, we recommend using the FKS 04 S water cooler.
